Summer Wedding at Domaine Perrault Winery: David & Simone
I was looking forward to David and Simone’s wedding as soon as I heard about it! Firstly, I was super excited to have the opportunity to photograph a wedding at the beautiful Domaine Perrault Winery, let alone what the two of them were planning. David and Simone wanted a very “chic” and “laid back” style wedding with all of their friends and family, and I do believe having it at the winery was the perfect choice! The day of the wedding started off a bit grey and rainy but by the time for the ceremony, the sun had come out and we were able to proceed with having the ceremony outside.
The ceremony was located in a corn field just a few minutes walk away from the actual venue. It was the perfect spot for things as the corn blocked the wind and noise, and you were able to just sink into the moment. After the ceremony, we went into the vines where the grapes are grown and we did all of he family, bridal party and some of the couples photo’s. It made for such unique photo’s with the vines as a backdrop. Ottawa does have a few winery wedding venues, but I would have to suggest Domaine Perrault as the top - not only is the venue stunning, but the owners are down to earth and just make the whole planning process a breeze.
I want to thank David and Simone for allowing me to capture their special day, I can not wait t work with you both again in the future!
