Romantic Wedding at Orchard View: Brandon & Kayla
As an Ottawa wedding photographer, I've documented weddings at many incredible venues, But when Brandon and Kayla told me they were planning to say "I do” at Orchard View I knew this was going to be a celebration to remember! From the moment we arrived until the newlyweds raced off into their happily ever after, Orchard View was breathtaking, accessible and enchanting.
As the bride had her hair and makeup done surrounded by her bridesmaids, I couldn't help but marvel at how colourful the getting ready space was! With its many windows and tall ceilings, it was perfect for taking photos! The groom's prep room was equally as amazing! I always advise couples to choose a getting ready space that has a ton of natural light and has lots of room to get ready in, and Orchard View absolutely delivered!
When we arrived for the ceremony, I gasped! Not only did it perfectly suit the dream wedding day Brandon and Kayla had described to me from day one, but it also surprised me with stunning gazebo. The way staff at Orchard View decorated the already beautiful venue made my jaw drop! There was definitely no shortage of incredible spots for portraits, that's for sure!
From the photos we took under the gazebo to the ones on the bridge, Brandon and Kayla are going to have a crazy hard time choosing which ones to print and hang in their home! Then, off to the reception we headed! When the guests saw the dance floor, they could not wait to get dancing. Then, once the party kicked into high gear and the guests hit the dance floor, the reception space felt like a night club!
Brandon and Kayla’s wedding celebration was romantic, quirky, and downright fun. Congratulations, you two on your marriage, and I can not wait to work with you both again in the future!
