Downtown Ottawa Engagement Session: Jeff & Vivian

Jeff and Vivian won a contest that I had going the year prior and decided to use it for a small engagement session Downtown Ottawa by the Chateau Laurier! We ended up having a nice overcast day and missed the rain by just a few hours! Sadly I am already booked on their wedding day, but they will be getting married at the stunning Le Belvedere in October. We wanted to show a contrast in the location as Le Belvedere is located up in the hills just outside Gatineau Park, while having their engagement session downtown would provide a cityscape vibe.

We spent an hour walking around the areas around the Chateau Laurier including the Rideau Canal Locks, the beautiful staircase just across from the National War Memorial and one of the balconies outside the Chateau Laurier. We had a great time, catching up during their session, especially since Jeff’s family is also located in the Ottawa Valley where I am currently located.
