There’s something truly magical about a golden-hour engagement session, and Tyler and Leandra’s Mill of Kintail sunset engagement session perfectly captured that warmth and romance. With the soft autumn light streaming through the trees and the natural beauty of the heritage location, their love story came to life in such a dreamy way.
Tyler and Leandra’s journey began in December 2022 when they connected on Hinge. Leandra had only been living in Ottawa for two months when fate brought them together. They planned their first date for just after Christmas, but destiny stepped in a few days early when Leandra recognized Tyler working behind the service desk at her gym! This unexpected encounter set the tone for what would become a beautiful love story.
After dating for about five months, their connection deepened and they made their relationship official. It quickly became clear that they had found their person in each other. Six months later, they moved in together, and after two incredible years, Tyler proposed during a weekend getaway to Gananoque. As they took a walk by the harbour before dinner, he went down on one knee with a heartfelt proposal that brought tears to Leandra’s eyes. The evening ended with a romantic dinner, plenty of champagne, and unforgettable memories.
Their Mill of Kintail engagement session reflected everything that makes their relationship so special… authentic love, laughter, and effortless connection. The rustic charm of Almonte and the glow of the setting sun created the perfect atmosphere for this milestone in their journey to “I do.”
Tyler and Leandra will be tying the knot this coming end of August at Stonefields Estate in Carleton Place, a stunning venue that will no doubt set the stage for another unforgettable chapter in their love story.
