I had the pleasure of spending a truly magical afternoon with the Lapierre family just outside Pembroke, and I can’t wait to share the experience! The day was perfectly crisp, with a fresh blanket of snow covering the ground. The night before, a soft snowfall had transformed the landscape into a winter wonderland, making it the perfect backdrop for family photos. As we bundled up and ventured into their side yard, I couldn’t help but marvel at the towering trees surrounding us, creating an enchanting and peaceful atmosphere. It was the kind of day that felt like it came straight out of a storybook.
I first met Megan over a year ago when she was filming a wedding here in Renfrew. As a talented local wedding videographer in the Ottawa Valley, Megan and I immediately hit it off, and we exchanged a few ideas about how we could work together in the future. When she reached out to me about capturing her growing family, I was beyond excited! She booked one of my promotional packages, and we set a date to capture her new arrival just before Christmas.
There’s something incredibly special about documenting these early moments of family life, and I felt so honored to be the one to capture these memories for Megan, her partner, and their little one. The snowflakes gently falling around us added a layer of magic to the photos, and the warmth and love between the family members shone through in every shot.
