Strathmere Farmhouse Wedding: Charles & Katerina
It was the most beautiful June day and I could not wait to head on over to Strathmere (Just outside Ottawa) and document their special day. Fun fact is that Strathmere is the very first wedding venue I photographed at when I first started documenting weddings, so it always has a special place in my heart. When I arrived I headed on over to the Inn to capture all of the getting ready photos with Katerina. Her and her bridesmaid were getting ready in the lounge and I captured the most authentic photo’s.
I sneaked away and captured a few detail photos of Charles upstairs. They were super nervous and I could tell her was excited. Once I got all of the detail photo’s and getting Katerina in her dress, I made my way outside to capture guests arriving and the details at the ceremony space just outside the Inn. The ceremony was super intimate, and once it was finished we headed on over to the gardens to get some family photo’s.
We made sure to head on over to the fields to get some couples photos and made sure to take advantage of the beautiful lighting. When we were finished, I got to capture some authentic photos of Charles and Katerina during cocktail hour. I ended my evening with everyone on the dance floor, and made sure to say goodbye to everyone! Thank you so much Charles and Katerina for having me document your most special day!
