Intimate Weekday Wedding at Aquatopia: Jonathan & Jennifer

Jonathan and Jennifer reached out to me kind of last minute for their very private and intimate wedding at Aquatopia just outside Ottawa in Carp. They were planning their wedding during the week, and of course I had the date open! I was super excited when they reached out as I had never photographed a wedding at Aquatopia before, and this would be the perfect first step! I do love photographing very intimate and candid weekday weddings since the Pandemic, and I offer hourly packages for such occasions.

Aquatopia is absolutely a beautiful Ottawa wedding venue, and just happens to also be a greenhouse, so there is really no need to do up a bunch of decorations as the venue is stunning enough! I arrived early to grab some detail photos, I absolutely loved that Jonathan and Jennifer were including their dog in the event as well.

The ceremony was nothing but short and sweet and afterwards we went right into the family and couples photo’s. Again, the venue being as beautiful as it is, we did not have to leave the location for the additional photo’s. Sometimes the best weddings just happen to be the last minute bookings!
